Bachelor in Web Marketing

Web Diploma2 worlds.

A well-structured Human Resource world for web engeneers, with diplomas and very specific codes and frameworks to master (according different levels), with wages that result from a supply and a demand on each technology sub-market. Designers & Information Architects have also their own HR rules.

Aside from that, a messy jungle that stands for the Human Resource world of marketing and project management webworkers (i.e. the non technical ones). A sphere without any recognized diploma ; where wages are aligned on the lowest ones, because the work supply is so heterogeneous, that it’s easy for bosses to take the less-qualified workers of a multi-tasking position (such as projext manager in web agencies) as the norm. In this Far-West, only the most foxy & boastful ones are taken to be out of the crowd. Out-of-the-box-thinking, cleverness, academic education account for Z-E-R-O.

What to do then to instill something like equity in that mess ?

Devising an internationnaly aproved diploma would a first step. It would be the first way to say: “Hey ! Working in the new technologies field for a business school alumni is not a siding for lost minds. Some may be above the others”. It would be first in the interest of the employer…
